Meet Nomination Process
The ideal process for entering events is
- Coach notifies Swimmer/Parent of a Target Meet via the weekly Squad email and Club Calendar
- Swimmer prints off the Meet Invite, highlights the events they would like to swim
- Swimmer takes the Meet Invite to their next session to discuss with their Coach
- Following discussion, Swimmer/Parent enters the event online via Swim Central portal
(note: it is Club policy that Swimmers race in all events they enter (unless exceptional circumstances)
Timekeeping at Meets
At every Meet we attend, our Club is given a number of Timekeeping positions to fill.
It is a Club expectation that Parents/Carers assist with timekeeping when their child is attending.
Our Club Secretary will load a Timekeeping Duty Roster to the team APP in the week leading into the Meet, (this cannot be done any earlier than this as we are only notified of the number of Timekeepers required a few days beforehand). Parents/Carers then register for their preferred time directly on the App.
There is no age limitation for this, no experience required, is an easy process and a great way to meet people – plus the added bonus of having the best view of the racing!
How to use the APP to register for Timekeeping:
- Go to the Event tab on the APP, select the Meet
- Click on Duty Roster
- Click on Assign to Me
