|TSS Aquatic caters for a wide variety of swimmers, both boys and girls from learn to swim through to an elite level. There are squads that cater for sprint, middle distance and distance swimmers. Our squad system is designed so that whatever pathway a swimmer decides to take, we have the perfect squad; be it social swimming or targeting to represent Australia at the next Olympic Games!|
Meet the Coaches
Chris Nesbit - High Performance Coach - 2011 to present
While at TSS Chris has coached David Morgan to an Olympic Bronze Medal (Rio 2016). Most recently Chris has coached Laura Taylor, Kiah Melverton and David Morgan to Commonwealth Games Medals. Laura, Kiah, David, Maddy Gough and Emma Robinson will compete at this years Pan Pacific Championships in Tokyo.
Prior to TSS, Chris was Head coach of the highly successful British Swimming Offshore Centre (based at The Southport School). 30% of the 2012 British Male Olympic Team came from this program.
Chris also coached Katy Sexton to a World Championship Gold and Silver Medal in 2003.
Liam du Feu - Director of Swimming - 2010 to present
Liam has coached 8 different National Age Champions since 2011 and 18 different National Age Medalists. Current TSS International swimmers - Kiah Melverton, David Morgan, Laura Taylor and Maddy Gough were all previously coached by Liam in his Tiger Shark squad.
David Thomas - Head Junior Coach - 2012 to present
David has been a coach on one Senior Queensland Team and one Junior Queensland Team within the past two years.
