Interstate Competition Clearances
Swimmers must log in and complete the Interstate Clearance request themselves, requests must be completed two weeks prior to the nominations closing date of the meet the swimmer wishes to attend. Requests submitted after this time will only be approved by SQ according to time constraints and are not guaranteed to be processed.
HOW TO NOMINATE FOR A MEET
State / National level Meets
To compete at State and National level Meets you must be registered with SQ, (Membership form above).
As indicated on the SQ/SA website, online entries apply .
You will require your SQ Username and Password to enter online through the SQ online portal.
If you do not have this, you can obtain from the pool office. Please record these details in your log book.
Online entries are completed using a credit card, processed through on the online portal, on the SQ/SA website, on the event page of the Meet you wish to enter.You can obtain a copy of the event programme from this website link.
Please feel free to discuss your selected events with your Coach before you enter. They will be happy to provide guidance.
Note: Online entries use entry times listed on the SQ/SA database, time trial/club night times are not recorded on this database.
Note: The SQ/SA websites frequently experience technical difficulties close to the Entry deadlines for Meets, please complete your entries several days in advance of the deadline to ensure you do not experience difficulty.
Gold Coast/Regional Meets
To compete at Gold Coast and Regional Meets you must be a SQ registered member (Membership form above).
These entries are done by Manual Nomination only.
Please feel free to discuss your selected events with your Coach, they will be happy to provide guidance.
You can obtain a copy of the programme from this website link, listed under the name/date of the Meet.
Complete the Manual Nomination form (download from link above), please ensure all details are complete :
eg: Event number, Distance and Stroke, Entry time and where this was achieved/swum.
(If times are not included, you will be entered as NT (no time) which will mean you will be entered in the slowest heat)
Please ensure the name and contact details for your family timekeeping representative is listed.
Place the completed Nomination form with your payment in a named envelope in the yellow nomination box on the inside of the pool office door.
All entries must be submitted by the Nomination deadline as listed in your Squad Calendar
