TSS (The Southport School) Preparatory School will select a Representative Team to compete at the Gold Coast North Primary Districts Swimming Trials, held on Monday 13th February, at the Southport Pool, Marine Parade, Southport.

Ages represented at these Trials are :
10yrs (born 2002), 11yrs (born 2001), 12yrs (born 2000)
The Team to represent TSS at this Carnival will be selected after the Prep Carnival on 10th February 2012, giving Swimmers the maximum opportunity to achieve their fastest qualifying time.
Selection is based on fastest times on record, times used for selection are limited to:
1. Official Long Course times listed on the SQ database for the period of
01st January 2011 to 10th February 2012
2. Official times achieved at the 2011 CIC Championships
3. TSS Aquatic Meets 30th Sept & 01st Oct 2011, & 14th January 2012
4. TSS Prep Carnival – 10th February 2012
Swimmers will be informed of their selection to the Representative Team , by telephone on:
Saturday 11th February, by Janice Cole, TSS Swimming Prep Co-ordinator
Competition events are selected by the Head Coach - David Proud, and Swimmers will be advised of the events selected for them at this time.
Boys in Year 7 – Born in 1999
You DO NOT compete at the GC North Primary Districts Carnival.
You compete at the Independent Districts Carnival held at TSS on Friday 17th February 2012.
You must nominate for your own events

The next level….. Selection to the South Coast Regional Trials
Swimmers that achieve a top 5 fastest time in each Age Group (10yrs, 11yrs, 12yrs) in each event at the GC North Primary Districts Trials are selected to attend the South Coast Regional Trials, held at TSS on 27th and 29th February 2012. Please note: Selection is subject to achieving qualifying times.
TSS will be sent confirmation of Swimmers that have been selected after the completion of the Primary and Independent District Trials.
